Fundraisers: We do various fundraisers, such as pet washes, garage sales, pet costume contests, and can shakes, we are always in need of volunteers. Please check out our event dates and call us if you can help in any way! |

Pet-Out-Reach: The 3rd Thursday of each month, the AAS visits Pearl River Hospital and Nursing Home on hwy. 11 in Poplarville, Ms. The residents look forward to and enjoy visiting with the pets. The happy faces of these residents when the dogs come to give them just one stuffed animal heartwarming!You can also participate in these heart warming miracles. Needed small gifts for the animals to pass out to the residents of the nursing home for Christmas! Contact us if you have anything you would like to give! |

Foster care volunteers needed: We are in desperate need of foster help. Without foster help we are limited to the pets we can save. When fostering we supply any necessary food and medical attention to the pet. All you have to do is give a warm home and the love needed for these guys. Volunteers for Adoption Day: We are in need of volunteers for adoption days. Adoption days are held a few times a month on Saturdays for just a few hours. For anyone interested in helping out, whether it be once a month or only a few times a year, it would be greatly appreciated. We welcome school students as well. | |

DONATIONS: AAS is entirely dependent upon the support of our local community & by animal lovers like yourself. The AAS holds several fundraising events, in order to help raise money for homeless pets that we foster. We are a highly dedicated group of volunteers, but in order for us to help these animals, we need donations also. We pay for all of the medical care these animals receive, their food, medicine, vaccinations, and spay/neuters. AAS makes no profit, infact much of the money that we put out for these homeless pets, comes from our own pockets. We would greatly appreciate any thing you can donate to help us! Remember, your donation is tax-deductible! Your actions will mean so much to the homeless dogs and cats.
